There is little doubt within the collective minds of most executives in the condominium field that managing a condominium corporation today is significantly different than it was 10 or 15 years ago. Dramatic changes have occurred with even more on the horizon with the anticipated new and amended legislation about to be enacted. Today’s managers require an expanded skill set, one that includes excellent time management, extensive computer knowledge and navigation as well as expertise in both verbal and written communication. Finding these “new wave” managers has been and continues to be challenging; but once they have “landed”, have the requirements in managing them effectively changed as well?
