City Sites Property Management Inc. hosted its 1st Directors educational seminar to inform Boards of Directors on the upcoming amendments to the Condominium Act, 1998.
We were joined by Mr. Armand Conant, head of the condominium law group Shibley Righton LLP. Armand is a Past-President of the Canadian Condominium Institute and is the Treasurer & Secretary of the Condominium Authority of Ontario.
Armand presented the general overview of the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) and the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) as well as some of the new Rules and Regulations that will amend the Condominium Act, 1998 and are being proclaimed in the New Year.
